Question about capital loss
Capital loss?
Recently I sold an antique for 12,000 that I had bought for my personal use in 2004 at a cost of 15,000.
In my 2007 tax return, can I treat the sale of the antqiue as a transaction resulting in long-term capital loss?
It is often said that income tax returns are more imaginative than best selling novels. The truth, in both types of documents, is stretched, spun, colored and twisted to make things appear almost unrecognizable. However, new Thailand laws have been developed by the Revenue Department to ensure that capital losses, an area of tax returns rife for unethical deductions, are now fairer. Business legal services in Thailand are also Read more… »

1. As I don`t live in the USA, I have no clear vision of the problem – what is the REAL impact of the economical crysis on US citizens? 2. What the Government and Fed did to stabilize the Economy, decrease inflation and so on?
P.S. Need some "live" info for my university studies

Thanks in advance.

A business plan guide is a great place to start when you are getting ready to write your first business plan. Perhaps you have found a book about writing business plans, or are following a template, but chances are, these materials will only focus on the steps necessary to create your business plan and will fail to point out the critical mistakes that most new business owners make. So let’s ignore the step-by-step tutorial for Read more… »

Question about debt management
Debt Management?
I have about 20K in Credit Card debt. I have no problem in making the monthly required payments. I thought about taking a loan and then paying the loan off, but I don't know who will give me a loan that big considering that I only make 30K per year. I have a very descent credit score (above 600). What is my best option to get rid of this debt? I am very skeptical about those debt consoldation companies.
Anyone who has paid attention to the mounting credit card crisis afflicting modern Americans should not be surprised by the sudden explosion of debt management firms in the last decade. The debt management industry has grown exponentially over the pas Read more… »
