Question about business

How do I start a successful retail business?
I need assistance to get my questions answered regarding starting a retail business:

1. Which retail business would be best to start and why: a) Specialty retail business or b) Mail order business?

2. Which type of business is more predictable and does not change often: Specialty retail or mail order?

3. Many people say that PASSION is important when it comes to starting a business because the owner will have to work long hour to make his or her business a success. I agree with that but can you explain to me why there are many people out there who started their successful businesses outside their PASSION?

4. How can I choose products and services to sell that fit my personality and are part of my values?

5. I took a Myers-Briggs personality test and the result of the test shows that my personality type is an ISFJ (Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, Judging). Would someone like me who possess this personality type can become successful in operating his or her retail business?

Color Business Cards and Their Meaning

One of the major aspects in business card printing is the color of the cards. Color business cards provide a way to customize your business card with your own personal look. For certain, business card printing companies are ready to print custom business cards with every color of the rainbow. A client is always right, so if you want to print business cards with your favorite color like electric pink, then why not?

Of course keep in mind that colors have their meanings. So your color business cards will not only give your pertinent details to someone, they will also display your personality and image. It is important to know how colors are perceived by people and how this will affect their perception of you. To help you choose a color for your business card, below is a list of the common colors of business cards and their perceived meanings. Choose well and choose wisely.

Standard White First of course, we have the standard white. Almost everybody uses white business cards. If you are just starting out in business card printing then white is probably the safest choice. A white business card is of course universally accepted, and all kinds of designs and images work with white. It is basically a blank canvass to work on really. Of course, be aware that since white is the standard color; it tends to be the most boring and mundane. Almost everybody has a white business card, how will you stand out?

Elegant Black Black is well, interesting. As the saying goes, you can pair any color with black. Since it contrasts almost any kind of color, a black business card definitely stands out in the sea of white and colored business cards. Black is a nice solid color to use and a lot of business card printing companies are equipped to print them. Add that with contrasting silver or gold lettering and you have a nice and elegant color business card.

The Red Card The red business card is of course something eye catching. If a woman in a red dress speaks of a subtle beauty and passion, then that is how a red business card operates. Of course not everyone can pull off a red business card. It depends on your personality and of course your industry. But there is no question of the impact of a red business card. It turns eyes and roller decks.

Subdued colors On the general side of color business cards, subdued and light colors are the best way to use color business cards without straying too much from a safe white business card. The subtle hint of color adds some personality to a business card and it doesn’t risk an intense reaction like a red or black business card. Of course, subdued and light colors still have a few qualities that are like standard white business cards. Unfortunately they can also run into the same pitfalls.

Bright Colors Brighter and fuller colors of course offer the complete impact of your chosen favorite color. Using these kinds of colors makes your business card more personal and it gives its own unique impact. A pink or neon green business card for example may gain looks. However this may also run the risk of looking too unprofessional. The safest way to use full bright colors is to only use one color at the most. If you use more color combinations, it might look cute, but it will also look more informal. This if course depends on your industry. If you are into a more casual line of work it may be fine, but for corporate types this might be frowned upon.

So have you chosen a color? Achieve a balance between your personality and your business environment and you should have the correct business card color to choose from. Be as eye catching and as decent looking as possible with color business cards.

As she says. It is the colors that have been chosen. Th business card will feature those colors, in some fashion.

On this Yahoo Answers page, the color scheme is based on two different shades of green. That is Yahoo Answers' color scheme.

These numbers signify the colors used on the front/back of your print. 4 = Full Color, 1 = Black, 0 = No Printing. Thus 4/4 means full color printing on the front & back, 4/1 means full color printing on the front with black printing on the back, and 4/0 means full color printing on the front with no printing on the back, not sure about the other numbers.

try to visit this site. this is where you can find the specifications of the centro for at&t. the centro has an alarm clock. you can set it on the world clock application. the size of the centro is 4.22" x 2.11" x 0.73" so roughly it has the same height of a credit card and a little longer on the width.

They havent stopped Spinning for Hitlary. Why do you think none of Hilarys negatives are being reported? Such as
Her theivery at Rose Law Firm
Her failing to grant health insurance to Walmart employees, and, having management send a memo for walmart to "not hire fat people".
Her campain manager getting thrown into jail.
The firing of numerous staff members on Hilarys campain
The list goes on and on and on.

The answers to your question are way too varied and lengthy to be dealt with here. The types of equipment you need depend on the market you are going after.Offset or Digital? Are you going to do your bindery in house or farm it out? How much space to you have available for storage of paper and equipment? Who is going to operate your machines?
I have been a printer for 35 years, as an owner and as an employee. The best advice I can give you at this point is visit several working print shops, talk to the manager and some of the press people. Most will be willing to give you some insight into what's involved.
Just a side note: It has been said that a monkey can stand at a press all day, But it has to be a TRAINED monkey

advertising is a very tough business.

Businesses are getting hounded all day long from people selling advertising in newspapers, magazines, shoppers, direct mail, high school sport programs, church bulletins, billboards, bus stop benches, several radio stations, cable TV, and many others.

If you medium is new, or if you cannot convince a potential advertiser that HIS customers read and use your medium, you will not be successful. There is so much media out there that a business owner can be very selective about how to spend his advertising dollars.

you can open photoshop, load up your brush on a blank page and unlocked layer. Then paint the brush and when you're done cmd+click on the layer you painted on, making sure you click on the little thumbnail. Doing this will outline the brush. Then go to the paths tab, click on the drop down menu and click on make work path. Then a little window will pop up asking you what to set the tolerance to, i left it at 2 pixels, but i was using a really large brush, but you can play around with it if this works. Anyways click ok, and then you'll see your newly created work path under the paths tab. Now go up to file>export>paths to illustrator. Make sure at the bottom where it says "paths" that your work path is selected from the drop-down menu, then Save the file as whatever you want, this will become the vector that you open up in illustrator. Hit save and then find the file you just saved and open it up in illustrator. you might not be able to see anything when its open but this is cuz there's no colours applied to it. Hit cmd+a to select everything on the page and you should see the anchor points for your brush highlighted. Then just apply the desired stroke / fill. Hopefully this helped/works.

oh btw sorry im working on a mac, if you're on a pc i think everywhere i hit cmd you hit ctrl instead. And if you have holes as part of the brush and they are being filled in when you apply fill just make them compound paths in illustrator
