I have never heard of banks issuing credit card to sole proprietorships. You need to personally guarantee the card, so it may have a business name on it, but it will still be tied to your personal credit information.

Rule of thumb….if you gave the bank your social security number when you applied for the card, any activity will appear on your credit report.

An LLC usually doesn't help getting credit unless it is long established and with a large amount of assets and/or profits. Your credit score, credit history, salary, and debt ratios will be used to get the credit card and you will be held personally responsible for the debts.
A LLC usually only protects you from lawsuits and not debts.

As long as you use proper accounting principles and pay the proper amount of taxes — they don't care. And, no, personal expenses on a business credit card do not count as business expenses.
Credit card companies can list your statements by categories if you wish — even as a yearly printout. That may help you reconcile personal from business expenses.

First of all you can lend me like $800.00 and you'll be okay. But your credit limit depends on you credit. If you use American Express that darn Charge card, then you are going to get something like No credit limit which looks bad on your credit score. So You might wonna go with so mething that is around $20,000. If any thing goes wrong and you are suddenly out of work or you have to shut your business then you that that thirty that you are saving and stick it on the credit card balance. Remember you won't go over tweny. You will need to provide work history, SSN, and amount you have in savings. If you have a checking account then that will also be helpful.

It depends on whether the card is completely tied to the business. Most business credit card contracts have some small print where the owner of the company signs personal resposibility if the card is defaulted on. The payments themselves are not reflected on your personal credit rating however if you default it could hit your personal rating. Check your original contract to see if they had a personal clause.

Establish your business as a legal entity…an LLC or a Corporation, by filing Articles of Incorporation with your Secretary of State. Once that's done, you'll need to obtain your EIN (employer identification number) from the IRS.
