Some people are just good at it. It is a skill.
You can try brainstorming. Write down all of the various uses for the product then make funny pet names for those uses. Play around by combining these names, changing the spelling, swapping a letter, etc.
Offer a contest at work for the employees to suggest names. The best name gets $500, even if you don't use it.

It would be different if you were putting someone elses trademark or corporation name on your product, but you're not.

You would have to hire an attorney and file for a provisional patent application with the US Patent Office. This process is long and expensive. If your product is relatively simple, you're looking at spending $4,000 and $6,000 for the patent. If your product is really complex, you're looking at spending $15,000 or more.
